Do I retain ownership of content I post on Opengates?

Yes. You retain full ownership of your intellectual property, including text, images, videos, designs, and other creative materials you upload. Opengates does not claim ownership of your content.

What license do I grant Opengates when I post content?

By sharing content on the Platform, you grant Opengates a global, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for operational purposes. This is necessary for platform functionality such as displaying your work to clients and enabling collaboration. See Content on the Platform.

What type of content is prohibited?

You may not post content that:

  • Violates intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks).
  • Contains obscene, defamatory, or abusive material.
  • Promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination.
  • Includes false, misleading, or fraudulent claims.
  • Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated, you can submit a complaint by emailing support@opengates.app. Opengates will address copyright violations in accordance with applicable laws.

How can I report inappropriate content?

You can report content that violates the Terms or Community Guidelines through the Platform's designated reporting tools. Opengates takes all reports seriously and will review them promptly, taking appropriate action.

Is Opengates responsible for user-generated content?

No. Opengates acts as a host and intermediary. Users assume full responsibility for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of their content. The Platform does not endorse or verify user-generated content. See Content on the Platform.
