Common questions about account creation, eligibility, security, and management on the Opengates Platform.

Who is eligible to use Opengates?

You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Platform. Users under 18 may only use the Platform with a parent or legal guardian's consent. Previously banned users are not eligible to create new accounts. See Who May Use the Services.

Can I use Opengates on behalf of my company or organization?

Yes. If you access the Platform on behalf of a business or legal entity, you must have the legal authority to bind that entity to the Terms of Service. The organization assumes full liability for any misuse or violations. See Who May Use the Services.

What information do I need to create an account?

You need to provide accurate and complete information including your name, email address, payment details, and any other information required during registration. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date.

How do I keep my account secure?

We recommend the following:

  • Use a strong, unique password.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if available.
  • Update your login credentials regularly.
  • Never share your account credentials with others.

What activities are prohibited on my account?

You may not:

  • Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Use bots, crawlers, or scraping tools.
  • Engage in fraud, spam, or harassment.
  • Attempt to bypass security features or hack into accounts.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. You can terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@opengates.app. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and associated data. Make sure to resolve any pending obligations (disputes, payments) and back up important data beforehand.

Can Opengates terminate my account?

Yes. Opengates may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of the Terms, prolonged inactivity (6+ months), or legal obligations. You will be notified and may have the opportunity to appeal. See Termination of Services.
