Your responsibilities for account creation, security, and proper use of your Opengates account.

Account Creation and Accuracy

To access certain features of the Opengates Platform, users must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. This includes your name, email address, payment details, and any other information required during the registration process.

You are solely responsible for keeping your account information up to date. Failure to maintain accurate details may result in restricted access to the Platform or disruptions in service.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username, password, and any other information associated with your account. Sharing your login details with others or using the account of another user is strictly prohibited.

Opengates encourages all users to take precautions, such as:

  • Using strong, unique passwords.
  • Enabling two-factor authentication, where available.
  • Regularly updating your login credentials.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify Opengates immediately at support@opengates.app. While Opengates implements robust security measures, we cannot be held liable for damages resulting from your failure to protect your account credentials.

Prohibited Account Activities

Your account must be used in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. You agree not to engage in activities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating multiple accounts for deceptive purposes or to circumvent restrictions.
  • Impersonating another person or entity.
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities or misrepresenting your identity.
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Platform.

Violations of these provisions may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.

Account Activity and Responsibility

All actions performed under your account are your sole responsibility, regardless of whether they were carried out by you or an authorized third party. This includes communications, transactions, and content posted on the Platform.

Opengates retains the right to audit and review account activity to ensure compliance with these Terms and to protect the integrity of the Platform. Suspicious or abusive activity may result in account suspension pending investigation.

Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by accessing your account settings or contacting customer support at support@opengates.app. Upon termination, you will no longer have access to your account, or any data associated with it.

Opengates reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts under the following conditions:

  • Violations of these Terms or other Platform policies.
  • Prolonged inactivity, defined as 6 months or longer.
  • Legal obligations requiring account deactivation.

Termination of an account does not absolve you of any outstanding obligations, including pending payments or unresolved disputes.
